well it has been a long time since the last post! we are doing well in iowa! we've had a lot of visitors and are expecting more this fall! its a lot of fun living in a college town during football season especially when you live a block from the stadium! jess is getting the hang of being a resident.....slowly.....and enjoying the challenge. jason's CrossFit Epic (www.crossfitepic.com) gym is up and running and we have a great group of clients! he is moving into an off site location (right now he's running this out of the garage) next week! jakobi is growing like a weed and developing quite a personality to go with her bright red hair! she is such a joy and a blessing.......she's rolling over and babbling and working on crawling and sitting up! we have realized the stresses of being far from family in the last few months but thankfully we have frequent visits from all the grandparents and aunts and uncles and friends coming up in the next few months! we love and miss you all!!!!

well its been a month so i figured it was time to update the blog. no new pictures since i'd rather not be photographed at this stage! we seem to be in a "holding" mode here in oklahoma. the house has been on the market for about two weeks. we're told NOTHING is moving but we keep praying! we found a place to live in iowa which really takes a load off our minds. i (jess) am ready to meet this little bundle of joy. everything seems to be getting harder...especially tying my combat boots! about four weeks until the "official" due date but i'm really hoping she comes a little early :) in march we got to go to my cousin clark's wedding in denver and now the travel is restricted. we have "childbirth class" this weekend and the letter said "bring pillows" if they think i'm gonna get myself on the floor they've got another thing coming haha. seems like we see the OB all the time now....we're at the weekly visit stage. well, that's about all that's new here.....just waiting! keep us in your prayers and we'll keep you updated!

well.....we've made it to the third trimester! i can see the end in sight although it seems so far away still. between now and the time she comes there is still so much to do!! we're getting ready to put our house on the market and started looking for a place to live in iowa! the process of exiting the military has already begun and requires quite a bit of time. we are getting more and more excited as each day goes on......now if only we could come up with a name! :)
